ENGETEAM‘s solutions in robotic lines and special machines contribute to a better performance in productivity, quality and safety in casting and assembling process of the new 1.3 turbo engine for the Jeep Compass

The investments made in the Stellantis Group‘s engine plant, operating in the city of Betim, represent a strategic step in the expansion of the Group’s presence in Latin America.

With an annual production capacity of 100 thousand engines, the plant of the Stellantis Group, owner of the Fiat, Jeep, Citroën and Peugeot brands, has gathered a range of efforts not only in the construction of its industrial park, but also in research, development and investment in suppliers.

ENGETEAM, present in the roll of its select team of partners, carried out the supply of single source solutions with special machines and applied robotics, highly customizable to the production needs of T270 engines, which have a 185 hp propellant, 27.5 kgfm torque and the best performance and sustainability technologies, with gains in fuel consumption and reduction of gas emissions to the environment.
